Job summary

Idealis Consulting is seeking an Odoo Consultant to shape digitally transformed projects through a blend of technical and functional expertise. You will translate business requirements into robust architectures and ensure thorough documentation and reporting.

Key activities include feasibility studies, client workshops, and designing Odoo-based multi-store integrations, with emphasis on clear specifications and knowledge transfer to end-users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python, the Linux environment (Ubuntu), and the Odoo platform.
• Ability to perform complex PostgreSQL queries.
• Fluent in French OR Dutch, with a good knowledge of English.

Responsibilities

• Participate in functional and technical analyses to define innovative solutions and conduct in-depth feasibility studies.

As an Odoo Consultant, you play a pivotal role in our clients' digital transformation by intervening across the entire project value chain. You combine technical and functional expertise to design bespoke solutions, ranging from multi-store e-commerce integrations to complex feasibility studies. Your mission is to translate business requirements into robust architectures while ensuring high-precision technical documentation and reporting.

What your key responsibilities will be

Analysis & design of solutions

Participate in functional and technical analyses to define innovative solutions and conduct in-depth feasibility studies.

Support & knowledge transfer

Organize client workshops and meetings while providing functional training for end-users.

Develop and test functional designs, including the integration of multi-store e-commerce platforms within Odoo.

Draft technical specifications, develop detailed documentation, and design business solution components.

The ideal profile for our Idealis team

Must have

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proficiency in Python, the Linux environment (Ubuntu), and the Odoo platform.
• Ability to perform complex PostgreSQL queries
• Fluent in French OR Dutch, with a good knowledge of English.

• Experience with Git and the PyCharm IDE for code management.
• Additional skills in advanced web development
