Obsidian is seeking a meticulous Odiya language annotator to participate in a data-annotation project focused on Odiya documents. You will annotate structure, transcribe text, and ensure high-fidelity transcription of handwritten and printed content.

You must be a native Odiya speaker with expert script knowledge, capable of line-by-line transcription and rigorous quality checks. Collaboration with a second expert will ensure accuracy before final submission.

Qualifications

• Native Odiya speaker with full command of the script and orthography.
• Character-level transcription accuracy for Odiya text.
• Attention to detail to flag illegible regions.

Responsabilités

• Annotate page structure: identify regions and assign types and reading order.
• Record relationships between regions and figures/tables.
• Transcribe text exactly as it appears in Odiya script.
• Capture page metadata and flag illegible content.
• Review work with a second Odiya expert to ensure accuracy.
