Job summary

ScioTeq Ltd in Kortrijk is seeking an NPI Logistic Buyer who ensures engineering and production teams have timely access to the right materials for prototypes and new product introductions. You will be involved in new projects from an early stage and work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to bring them to a successful outcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with at least 2 years of experience.
• Affinity with technology and manufacturing is a plus.
• Strong communicator with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Proactive, initiative-driven and solution-oriented.
• Experience with ERP systems is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Determine purchasing quantities based on demand and supplier agreements.
• Collaborate with engineering, planning, warehouse and suppliers to align material requirements.
• Build sustainable relationships with suppliers and involve them early in projects.
• Place purchase orders according to production planning and monitor deliveries.
• Resolve deviations with suppliers and ensure timely material availability.
• Resolve damaged goods and quality issues in collaboration with suppliers.
• Communicate design changes to suppliers and assess impacts.
• Maintain multiple projects and priorities across departments.
• Maintain supplier master data in the ERP, including quotations and lead times.
