ScioTeq Ltd is seeking an NPI Logistic Buyer to join our team in Belgium. You will ensure timely access to materials for prototypes and new product introductions, working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.

You will manage quantities, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and place orders to keep production on track. Strong communication, ERP experience, and Dutch/English fluency are essential for this role.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with at least 2 years of experience.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; strong communication skills.
• Experience with an ERP system is a strong asset.
• Affinity with technology and ability to collaborate across departments.

Aufgaben

• Determine purchasing quantities based on demand and supplier agreements.

• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers early in new projects to reduce risks.
• Place purchase orders and proactively follow up on deliveries to ensure material availability.
• Address deviations (late deliveries, missing documents) with suppliers to find solutions.
• Resolve damaged goods and quality issues in collaboration with suppliers.
• Communicate design changes to suppliers and assess impact on orders.
• Maintain supplier master data in ERP, including lead times and origin.

Do you want to play a key role within our supply chain? As an NPI Logistic Buyer, you ensure that our engineering and production teams have timely access to the right materials for prototypes and new product introductions. You are involved in new projects from an early stage and work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to help bring them to a successful outcome.

Your Responsibilities

• You determine purchasing quantities based on demand, agreements with international suppliers and internal inventory guidelines.
• You work closely with engineering, planning, warehouse and suppliers to align material requirements in a timely manner.
• You build sustainable relationships with suppliers and engage them early in new projects to reduce risks and mitigate potential issues.
• Based on the production planning, you place purchase orders and proactively follow up on orders and deliveries to ensure the timely availability of materials.
• In case of deviations (late deliveries, delayed confirmations, overdue deliveries, missing documents, payment issues, etc.), you act as a representative of the company and work together with suppliers to find solutions.
• You ensure the timely resolution of damaged goods and quality issues in collaboration with suppliers.
• You communicate design changes to suppliers and assess their impact on ongoing orders.
• You maintain an overview of multiple projects and stakeholders and independently set the right priorities.
• You are responsible for maintaining supplier master data in the ERP system, including quotations, lead times and country of origin.

Your Profile

• You hold a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree and have at least 2 years of experience.
• Affinity with or interest in technology (e.g. mechanics, electronics, manufacturing, ...) is a plus.
• You are a strong communicator and easily build lasting relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• You work proactively, take initiative and adopt a solution-oriented mindset.
• You can work independently and set priorities in an environment where multiple projects run simultaneously.
• You enjoy collaborating across different departments and understand the impact of your decisions on planning, quality and inventory.
• You can easily deal with unforeseen circumstances and see challenges as opportunities to find solutions.
• Experience with an ERP system is a strong asset.
• You have an excellent command of Dutch and can also communicate fluently in English.
