Twipe in Leuven, Belgium is seeking a seasoned Backend .NET engineer to guide the architecture and technical direction of our backend systems. You will collaborate with Product, Customer Success, and other engineers to design, build, test, and deploy robust services.

You will coach backend engineers, enforce clean code and documentation, and drive integrations with external systems for authentication, authorization, and content distribution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years backend engineering experience.
• Advanced knowledge of .NET/C#.
• Experience with cloud platforms and relational databases.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code and DevOps practices.
• Proven ability to work on large, complex systems with high uptime requirements.
• Experience with secure coding practices (OWASP), design patterns, and unit testing.

• Take ownership of backend architecture, technical choices, and system performance.
• Collaborate with Product, Customer Success, and fellow engineers to design, build, test, and deploy.
• Coach and mentor backend engineers, raising the team’s technical standards.
• Ensure that our code is clean, maintainable, and well-documented.
• Drive integration projects with external systems for authentication, authorization, and content distribution.
