Actiris in Belgium seeks a .NET Developer with Desktop applications (WinForms/WPF). The role targets a mid-level developer with at least two years of experience who has managed small projects end-to-end and shows autonomy. Strong communication with clients and colleagues is essential.

You will develop desktop Windows applications, with UI design responsibility, using C# or VB.NET, and work with SharePoint automation and Active Directory in enterprise networks. On-site work 3 days, remote 2 days.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience minimum in desktop application development.
• Mid-level developer with autonomy and ability to manage small projects end-to-end.
• Strong communication skills with clients and colleagues are essential.
• Experience with desktop Windows applications and UI design.

.NET Developer with Desktop application M/W/X

• We are looking for a desktop application developer with prior experience. However, a developer experienced in large projects might find our structure too limited.
• Therefore, we propose selecting a mid-level developer with at least two years of experience who has already managed small projects from start to finish and demonstrates autonomy.
• They must also be a good communicator, comfortable both in front of a screen and with the clients they will be supporting. Sharing information with colleagues is essential.
• The development projects they will be responsible for will primarily be desktop applications for Windows (see Development Platform below). Consequently, we require the developer to have proven experience in UI (User Interface) design.

Profil

Technically speaking:

• Thorough knowledge of WinForms and/or WPF development

Languages:

• C# and VB.NET (at least proficiency in one of these languages and a good understanding of the other)

Other:

• Good understanding of SharePoint and its automation using .NET (C# and/or VB.NET)
• Understanding of enterprise networks (Active Directory, etc.)

Databases:

• Knowledge of SQL, specifically MySQL (our database system)
• 3-day on-site/2-day remote work schedule, but this could change.
