St. John’s International School in Waterloo is seeking a full-time Multi-Skilled Maintenance Worker to join our Facilities team immediately.

The role assists the Facility Coordinator with the day-to-day management of the school’s facilities and services, helping to maintain a safe, functional and pleasant environment for students and staff. We are looking for someone versatile, hands-on and able to work independently, with solid building maintenance knowledge and experience in basic plumbing,

Qualifications

• Has solid practical and technical skills.
• Is versatile, hands-on and able to work independently.
• Has a good understanding of general building maintenance.
• Is reliable, proactive and solution-oriented.
• Has good organisational and teamwork skills.
• Has previous experience in a similar role.
• Has a good command of English and/or French.

Responsabilités

• General repairs and maintenance of buildings and facilities.
• Basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry work.
• Assembly, installation and repair of equipment and furniture.
• Outdoor maintenance and upkeep of the school grounds.
• Assist with setting up classrooms and common areas as needed.
• Responding to maintenance requests and ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment.
• Assist with internal moves and the installation of new equipment.
• Preparation and setup of school events (meetings, exams, ceremonies, sporting activities).
