What will you do?
As a Forwarding Project Specialist, you make the impossible possible. From oversized (OOG) cargo and breakbulk shipments to complex industrial projects, you take ownership of challenging logistics movements from planning through to final delivery.
- Manage high-value project cargo, OOG, and breakbulk shipments from A to Z
- Coordinate air, ocean, road, and multimodal transport solutions
- Work with customers, carriers, terminals, ports, and DHL teams worldwide
- Arrange permits, route studies, heavy-lift operations, and specialized transport
- Keep stakeholders informed and projects on track
- Support quotations, tenders, and business growth opportunities
- Ensure flawless execution, documentation, and operational control
No two projects are the same. Every day brings a new logistics challenge to solve.
Your profile:
- You have extensive knowledge of sea and air freight, as well as knowledge of customs matters and related documentation.
- You have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in Project cargo.
- You can express yourself well both orally and in writing in both the Dutch and English language. French and German are a plus.
- You are cost-conscious and result-oriented, which means that you can transport shipments at a maximum result.
- Integrity Strong arithmetic skills are also important, as you will need to handle large amounts of money carefully.
- You must have the ability to solve any problems in arranging transports.
- A high level of accuracy is essential when recording operational and financial commitments.
- You may occasionally have to work under great time pressure, so it is important that you can perform well in stressful situations.
- It is important that you are familiar with various computer applications and have good telephone and e-mail skills.
