Job summary

Thales Group in Tubize, Belgium, is seeking a Modelling & Simulation Systems Engineer to join a team of over 300 professionals working on RF, C4ISR, and simulation-driven programs. You will lead technical planning, system integration, and V&V for simulated land vehicle platforms and mission systems.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in a related field with several years of experience in DM&S, Linux and Windows, and hands-on experience with lab infrastructures, HIL setups, and network

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s with 3+ years.
Experience with projection, display, and visualization systems and vehicle crew station hardware.
5+ years installing, configuring, modifying, and integrating simulation system software/hardware.
At least 3 years of experience in DM&S environments and complex IT/AV infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Lead planning, system integration, and V&V for simulated land vehicle platforms.
Analyze systems to support design, development, integration, and sustainment of models and digital twins.
Troubleshoot simulation environments, including HIL and network/configuration issues.
Develop validation plans to ensure fidelity and correlation with real-world performance.
Create maintenance plans for simulation frameworks and lab infrastructure.
