SII Belgium seeks a System Engineer focusing on simulation and algorithms to design, develop and integrate advanced systems for civilian and military environments. You will work with clients to define solutions and ensure successful implementation, contributing to architecture, validation, and field trials.

The role requires a Master’s in Engineering and 3–5 years of experience, with proficiency in Matlab/Simulink, C/C++, Python, and Git, plus knowledge of embedded real-time systems.

• 3–5 years of professional experience.
• Strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, and data analysis.
• Proficient in Matlab/Simulink, C/C++, Python, and Git.
• Familiar with real-time algorithm implementation on embedded systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Mansioni

• Understand and analyze client needs to propose tailored technical solutions.
• Contribute to the system architecture definition and ensure it meets customer requirements.
• Evaluate algorithm performance through analytical techniques and simulations.
• Conduct validation and verification activities for both new and updated algorithm designs.
• Support the integration of algorithms into hardware platforms via code generation and HIL testing.
• Optimize auto-generated C code and collaborate with embedded systems teams for seamless integration into devices.
• Contribute to field trials and analyze flight test data for performance assessment and system refinement.
• Model physical behaviors of novel concepts and perform simulations to guide development and inform key technical decisions.
