Thales Belgium (Herstal site) seeks a Systems Engineer to coordinate and validate subsystems integration on customer platforms, ensuring performance across deployment and operation. You will work with Model-Based Design tools in a high‑tech environment and support multiple projects with strong planning and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering-related fields and relevant aerospace experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an engineering department.

Responsabilités

• Develop and improve algorithms and control laws for guidance, navigation, flight controls and aiming systems.
• Test algorithm performance using analytical methods and Monte‑Carlo simulations.
• Perform V&V of updates and new designs.
• Support integration of algorithms into hardware using code generation and HIL testing.
• Improve generated C code and help embedded teams integrate algorithms.
• Participate in trials and process flight test data.
• Maintain digital twins for current and development products.
• Model physical behaviors and run simulations to guide development decisions.
• Interact with Bid & Project teams to prepare offers and respond to customers.
• Collaborate with Operations to optimize calibration procedures.
