Job summary

Capgemini Belgium seeks a Microsoft AI Cloud Solution Architect to design and scale AI-powered cloud solutions on the Microsoft stack. You will advise business and IT stakeholders, translating needs into secure, scalable architectures aligned with enterprise standards.

You will lead end-to-end Azure AI projects, from strategy to deployment, promoting Responsible AI, governance, and cost optimization while mentoring junior architects and engineers in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Enterprise Cloud/AI Architect, leading end-to-end solutions.
• Deep expertise in Azure architecture and cloud-native design (microservices, APIs, event-driven integration, landing zones, security, governance).
• Hands-on with Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Foundry, Azure Machine Learning, Python and C#/.NET; CI/CD, MLOps/LLMOps and IaC.
• Strong communication with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Professional working proficiency in Dutch and English; French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end AI and machine learning architectures on Azure, covering data ingestion, model development, deployment, and integration with enterprise systems.
• Help leverage Microsoft’s AI ecosystem (Microsoft Foundry, Azure AI Services, Responsible AI capabilities) to create business value.
• Translate business needs into secure, compliant, and cost-optimized AI solutions, and advise clients on AI adoption, cloud migration, and modernization.
• Define and promote Responsible AI principles and governance across architectures and implementations.
• Lead proofs of concept, architecture workshops, hackathons, and support presales activities (solution design, estimations, client presentations).
• Stay up to date with Microsoft AI and cloud innovations, share knowledge internally, and coach junior architects and engineers.

YOUR ROLE

As a Microsoft AI Cloud Solution Architect, you will play a key role in helping our clients design, build and scale AI‑powered cloud solutions on the Microsoft stack. You act as a trusted advisor for both business and IT stakeholders, translating business needs into secure, scalable and cost‑effective AI architectures within the Microsoft ecosystem.

You guide clients from strategy to implementation, ensuring solutions are production-ready, responsible, and aligned with enterprise standards.

Your key responsibilities are:

YOUR PROFILE

• You have proven experience as an Enterprise Cloud / AI Architect, owning solutions end‑to‑end and leading stakeholders from design through delivery.
• You have obtained deep expertise in Azure architecture and cloud‑native design, including microservices, APIs, event‑driven integration, landing zones, security, and governance.
• You have strong hands‑on experience with Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Foundry, Azure Machine Learning, agentic AI patterns (e.g. Semantic Kernel / Microsoft Agent Framework), Python and C#/.NET, plus CI/CD, MLOps/LLMOps and IaC.
• You are client‑centric, able to communicate complex concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
• You have a professional working proficiency in Dutch and English. French is considered an asset.
