Aerospacelab, a Belgian aerospace innovator, seeks a Mechanical GSE Engineer to join the V&V team. You will create mechanical ground support equipment to verify satellites on flatsats and the final assembly line, working closely with PA, Industrialization, Manufacturing, and AIT engineers in the Megafactory.

This hands-on role emphasizes iterative design, on-site testing, and rapid iteration to keep production pace high.

Qualifications

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
• Experience with iterative design and hands-on prototyping.
• Ability to design, test and improve equipment in a factory setting.

Responsabilités

• Define MGSE requirements with V&V Engineers for FS and FAL test scopes.
• Develop mechanical V&V GSE for final assembly line.
• Develop mechanical V&V GSE for flatsat testing.
• Develop production line work centers within the Factory team.
• Test and commission GSE on flatsats, structural tests, and production lines.
• Assist satellite production and iterate GSE to resolve line issues.
• Share knowledge and drive continuous improvement of GSE processes.
