Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions is seeking a Metallurgical Engineer to perform root cause investigations into metallurgical failures and assess corrosion mechanisms across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. You will analyze samples from hydrocarbon and water treatment operations, driving reliability decisions in water and hydrocarbon systems.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of metallurgical laboratory experience, including leading failure analyses.
• Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills for all levels.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Pro-active reporting to customers and excellent problem-solving ability.

Responsabilités

• Conduct metallurgical failure analyses and corrosion mechanism assessments.
• Act as the technical go-to for metallurgical evaluations and materials selection.
• Operate SEM-EDXA and other analytical instrumentation for metallurgical exams.
• Perform failure analyses on membrane systems and deliver clear findings.
• Collaborate with organic analyses and microbiological teams for data gathering.
• Prepare detailed analytical reports for Technology and Commercial teams.
• Deliver work on schedule in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with EHS compliance.
• Take ownership of customer application and R&D projects on membrane systems.
