Avertim is seeking a MES Project Manager to lead Manufacturing Execution System implementation and optimization projects within regulated Life Sciences environments in Brussels. You will drive digital transformation on the shop floor, aligning business needs with technical solutions and compliance requirements.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of MES project management experience in pharma/biotech/medtech, a Master’s degree, and hands-on knowledge of MES platforms such as Werum PAS-X, Rockwell

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, IT, or related field.
• 2–5 years of MES project management experience in pharma/biotech/medtech.
• Strong knowledge of MES platforms (Werum PAS-X, Rockwell PharmaSuite, Siemens Opcenter).
• Familiar with GxP, CSV and manufacturing regulations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Fluent in English and Dutch and/or French.
• Experience with Agile or hybrid project methods.

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end MES implementation projects from scope to validation.
• Manage timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations.
• Ensure GxP, FDA and EMA regulatory compliance throughout projects.
• Coordinate IT, manufacturing, quality and vendors.

Your Role as MES Project Manager

As a MES Project Manager, you will lead Manufacturing Execution System implementation and optimization projects within regulated Life Sciences environments. You will be responsible for driving digital transformation on the shop floor, ensuring alignment between business needs, technical solutions, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Delivery

• Lead end-to-end MES implementation projects, from scoping and design to deployment and validation
• Manage project timelines, resources, budgets, and stakeholder expectations
• Ensure compliance with GxP, FDA, and EMA regulations throughout the project lifecycle
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, manufacturing, quality, and external vendors

Client Engagement

• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, translating operational challenges into MES solutions
• Serve as a bridge between business and IT teams, ensuring digital solutions are aligned with both strategic goals and operational realities
• Work closely with internal project teams to ensure smooth coordination and a supportive, solution-oriented environment
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by sharing insights, exchanging knowledge, and supporting team success

Your Profile

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, IT, or related field
• 2-5 years of experience in MES project management within pharmaceutical, biotech, or medtech industries
• Strong understanding of MES platforms (e.g., Werum PAS‑X, Rockwell PharmaSuite, Siemens Opcenter)
• Familiarity with GxP, CSV, and regulatory requirements in manufacturing environments
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
• Fluent in English and Dutch and/or French
• Experience with Agile or hybrid project methodologies is an asset
