EUROPEAN DYNAMICS is seeking a Mendix Developer to work remotely within the EU, collaborating with a major client’s IT team on-site as needed. You will translate requirements into Mendix applications, build integrations, and develop reusable modules with a focus on security and accessibility.

The ideal candidate has a university IT degree and at least 5 years IT development experience, including 3 years with Mendix, plus Mendix Advanced Developer certification. English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• University degree in IT and 5+ years IT development experience including Mendix hands-on work.
• Proven delivery of at least two Mendix applications into production with integrations.
• Experience with Mendix 10 or later, on-premises or private cloud deployment.

Responsabilités

• Develop reusable Mendix modules, widgets and components; contribute to component library.

We currently have a vacancy for a Mendix Developer in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be remotely within EU. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Tasks:

• Translate user stories and business requirements into working Mendix applications (domain models, flows, pages, security roles);
• Build integrations with internal and external systems via APIs and database connectors, and implement single sign-on (SAML/OIDC);
• Develop reusable modules, widgets and components in line with GSC standards, and contribute to a shared component library;
• Apply secure-by-design practices, role-based access control and data protection requirements;
• Build accessible interfaces that meet WCAG 2.1 AA;
• Write unit and automated tests, take part in code reviews, and use the Mendix Quality Add-ons or equivalent to keep technical debt under control;
• Support deployment, release management and third-level maintenance of applications in production;
• Produce and maintain technical documentation.

• University degree in IT and 5 years of IT development experience, including at least 3 years hands-on with Mendix;
• Proven delivery of at least two Mendix applications into production, including integration with enterprise systems;
• Experience with Mendix 10 or later, on-premises or private cloud deployment;
• Working knowledge of Java and JavaScript for custom actions and widgets;
• Experience working in Scrum or similar agile frameworks;
• Mendix Advanced Developer certification would be required & Mendix Expert certification will be considered as an asset;
• Experience with Mendix AI capabilities (e.g. GenAI connectors, Maia) will be considered as an asset;
• Knowledge of French will be considered as an asset;
• Excellent command of the English language.
