EUROPEAN DYNAMICS is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join the Brussels development team. You will design and build robust Java applications, write SQL, and perform QA while collaborating with a major client’s IT team on site.

The role requires a university IT degree and over 10 years in IT including strong Java and Webservices expertise, with Agile and DevOps familiarity. On-site work is available at company premises or client sites in Brussels.

Qualifications

• University degree in IT combined with relevant professional experience of at least 10 years in IT and information security services.
• At least 10 years of specific expertise in Java development.
• At least 6 years of specific expertise in Webservices.
• At least 6 years of specific expertise in Relational databases (Oracle/PostgreSQL).
• Proven experience in Java development: Spring Boot, Hibernate, Maven, Git.
• Excellent knowledge of interoperability technologies (web service, Stream processing, event architecture).
• Familiar with Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies.
• Excellent command of the English language.

Responsabilités

• Follow-up incidents, analysis of production issues and solutions.

• Produce software architecture documents and review existing systems.

We currently have a Full stack Developer vacancy for a fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks

• Design and develop efficient and scalable Java applications using popular frameworks and standards
• Write SQL queries and work with relational databases;
• Perform technical unit tests as well as quality assurance of new modules/developments;
• Follow-up incidents, analysis of production issues and elaboration of solutions (third level support and bug fixing for local IT applications);
• Contact and follow-up with the infrastructure supplier and/or with the manufacturer of specific component (e.g. Oracle);
• Perform data analysis and data modelling;
• Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting;
• Production of software architecture documents and review of the architecture of existing systems;
• Interaction with the business analysts, customers, users, project leaders and developers.

• At least 6 years of specific expertise in Relational databases(Oracle/PostgreSQL);
• Proven experience in Java development: Spring Boot, Hibernate, Maven, Git. Angular/eUI;
• Excellent knowledge of interoperability technologies (web service, Stream processing, event architecture;
• Familiar with Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies;
• Basic understanding of business processes and workflows in the translation area;
• Excellent command of the English language.
