Job summary

In4Matic is seeking an experienced digital design professional to shape clear, intuitive, user-centered experiences from discovery through validation. You will collaborate with users, product stakeholders, designers, and developers to translate business needs and user insights into practical, engaging solutions.

You will own the UX process across discovery, design, and validation, conduct research, create journeys and wireframes, facilitate workshops, and communicate design rationale clearly

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Several years of experience in UX, product design, service design, or a related area.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and qualitative research methods.
• Experience creating journeys, flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
• Ability to facilitate workshops and work effectively with different stakeholders.
• Clear communicator who can explain design decisions with confidence.
• Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary Agile environment.

Our client is looking for an experienced digital design professional to shape clear, intuitive, and user-centered experiences from early discovery through to validation. In this role, you will work closely with users, product stakeholders, designers, and developers to turn business needs and user insights into effective solutions that are both practical and engaging.

Responsibilities

You will take ownership of the UX process and contribute across the full design lifecycle, from identifying the problem to validating the final solution. Your work will include:

• Planning and conducting user research to understand needs, behaviours, and pain points.
• Selecting appropriate qualitative research methods based on the context and challenge.
• Translating research findings into actionable insights and design opportunities.
• Using evidence to challenge assumptions and support design decisions.
• Creating user journeys, flows, wireframes, and information structures that simplify complex processes.
• Exploring and evaluating different concepts and interaction approaches.
• Developing prototypes at the right level of fidelity for the situation.
• Planning and facilitating usability testing and other validation activities.
• Iterating on designs based on feedback, research findings, and test results.
• Facilitating workshops and co-creation sessions with users and multidisciplinary teams.
• Helping teams define problems clearly and frame strong design challenges.
• Communicating UX insights and design rationale in a clear and structured way.
• Collaborating throughout delivery with product stakeholders, designers, developers, and other specialists.

Profile

The ideal candidate has a strong background in user-centered design and can work independently across discovery, design, and validation. You should bring several years of experience in UX, product design, service design, or a similar discipline, along with the confidence to take ownership of complex design challenges.

Technical Skills

You will be expected to bring practical design capabilities that support both strategic thinking and hands-on delivery.

• Strong proficiency in Figma for UX design and prototyping.
• Experience producing research findings, usability test outputs, and UX recommendations.
• Ability to create user and customer journeys, user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
• Good understanding of how to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
• Nice to have: experience with service design and customer journey mapping.
• Nice to have: familiarity with design systems.
• Nice to have: understanding of accessibility and inclusive design.
• Nice to have: technical awareness that supports effective collaboration with developers.

This is a consulting opportunity within a multidisciplinary Agile environment.
