Job summary

Keystone Solutions seeks a Medior Software Developer for a consultancy mission at a client site to contribute to the development of business applications as part of the client's digital transformation.

You will design and maintain backend features, work in Azure, and participate in CI/CD pipelines, code reviews and testing, while writing clear, documented code and collaborating with a lead developer.

Qualifications

2–5 years of professional software development experience (medior).
Proficient in Python or Java, ideally both.
Experience with a public cloud (Azure preferred).
Familiar with DevOps practices: Git flow, CI/CD, environment promotion, secret hygiene.
AZ-900 and/or AZ-204 certifications are a plus.
English for code and team communication; Dutch and/or French is a plus.

Mission Overview

Keystone Solutions is seeking a Medior Software Developer for a consultancy mission at a client site. This role involves contributing to the development and improvement of business applications as part of the client's digital transformation strategy.

Responsibilities

Design, build and maintain application features, mainly on the backend (APIs, services, data access).
Work in a cloud environment, preferably Azure: configuration, logging, identity, storage, and basic troubleshooting of the services you use.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, code reviews and automated tests. Do not commit secrets. Respect environments (dev / test / prod).
Write clear, reviewed code and document what you ship.
Estimate and refine work with the Solution Architect / Lead Developer. Raise risks early.
Take part in agile ceremonies and pair when a topic is new.

Profile

2 to 5 years of professional software development experience (medior). Internships alone are not sufficient.
Confirmed in Python or Java: autonomous on day-to-day work in at least one of the two. Both is a plus. We do not expect Expert in either.
Practical knowledge of a public cloud. Azure is preferred: resource groups, App Service / Functions / containers or equivalent, identity, storage, monitoring at user level.
Understands standard DevOps practices: Git flow, pull requests, CI/CD, environment promotion, and secret hygiene.
Ideally holds AZ-900 and/or AZ-204 (Azure Developer). No certification is not a knockout if cloud practice is real and recent.
Curious, able to work with a lead, not only a ticket-taker.
English for code, documentation and team conversation. French and/or Dutch is a plus.

Assets

AZ-900, AZ-204, or another Azure developer / fundamentals certification.
Docker.
SQL (PostgreSQL, SQL Server or equivalent).
Spring, FastAPI, Flask.
Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions beyond “I ran a pipeline once”.
