Spector in Belgium is seeking an Integration & Automation Engineer to design and build robust integrations using Workato, connect systems, and translate business needs into scalable solutions.

You will own projects from analysis to go-live, collaborate with customers, and contribute to integration architectures while working in a hybrid setup with offices in Kontich and Ghent.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of hands-on IT experience.
• Strong knowledge of APIs (REST, SOAP, GraphQL).
• Experience with messaging technologies (JMS, AMQP, Kafka).
• Familiarity with enterprise systems (CRM, ERP, PIM).
• Professional proficiency in English.

You translate business needs into robust, scalable integration solutions and take ownership of projects from analysis to go-live. Working with Workato’s leading iPaas platform using modern integration patterns, you help organizations streamline operations and innovate faster.

Your responsibilities

• Design and implement complex integrations using Workato.


• Work with APIs, messaging technologies, and integration patterns to connect systems.


• Translate business requirements into technical integration solutions.


• Contribute to integration architectures (API Management, Data Integration, EDA, B2B).


• Ensure integrations are reliable, scalable, and maintainable.


• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.

What we are looking for

• 3-4 years of hands-on IT experience.

• Experience in a consultancy or customer-facing role.


• Knowledge of business process automation.
