Michael Page is recruiting on behalf of its client in Brussels for a Medior Accountant to join the accounting team and ensure accuracy, reliability and continuity of accounting operations.

The role involves managing supplier invoices from receipt to posting, ensuring VAT compliance, processing payments, handling Isabel-based payments, and performing AP/AR reconciliations to support monthly closings and annual accounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts payable and reconciliations.
• Knowledge of VAT treatment and monitoring.
• Ability to process supplier payments and manage financial documentation.

Responsabilités

• Manage supplier invoices from receipt to approval and posting.
• Ensure correct VAT treatment and support monitoring.
• Prepare and process supplier payments on time.
• Handle payments through Isabel and ensure proper controls.
• Follow up on supplier payment reminders.
• Perform AP/AR reconciliations and monitor customer and supplier balances.
• Manage bank transactions and financial documentation.
• Support monthly closings, audits and annual accounts.
