Job summary

Akkodis seeks a Medical Device Engineer to support development, industrialization, and lifecycle management of drug delivery devices. You will work with engineering, quality, regulatory, and manufacturing to ensure devices meet industry standards.

The role requires collaboration with cross-functional and international teams, strong project management, and a proactive problem-solving mindset. This position is based in Belgium and offers growth opportunities within the Devices, Artwork & Packaging

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (Biomedical/Mechanical/Life Sciences).
• Minimum 3 years in pharma, biotech, medical device, or combination product industry.
• Experience in GMP-regulated environments.
• Knowledge of ISO 13485, ISO 14971, MDR, 21 CFR 820/210/211, ICH Q9.
• Understanding of development, lifecycle management, and risk management.
• Experience with Design Verification, Design Validation, Change Control, CAPA, and docs.

Responsibilities

• Support design, development, and industrialization of medical devices and drug delivery systems.
• Contribute to NPI projects and lifecycle management activities.
• Coordinate technical activities with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Support design verification, validation, process validation, and regulatory submissions.
• Maintain technical documentation, including Design History Files (DHF).
• Ensure compliance with medical device regulations, QMS, and GMP requirements.
• Manage product changes, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support post-market activities and market feedback assessments.
• Participate in risk management and corrective/preventive actions.
• Collaborate with QA, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Packaging, and Development teams to deliver objectives.
