Job summary

Akkodis is hiring a Troubleshooting Scientist in Belgium to support pharmaceutical manufacturing and development activities. You will perform analyses, prepare samples, and develop analytical methods using optical and electron microscopy, spectroscopy, and related techniques.

You will document results, communicate findings in English (with French fluency), and calibrate instruments per procedures. The role offers a permanent contract and opportunities to grow within a global engineering

Qualifications

  • Bachelor/Master in (bio-)chemistry and/or analytical chemistry or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2–3 years lab experience in analytical domain; pharma background is an advantage.
  • Fluent in French and able to read English; written English required.
  • Demonstrated rigor, meticulousness, and ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Support pharmaceutical manufacturing and development investigations.
  • Prepare samples and perform analyses using microscopy and spectroscopy.
  • Develop analytical methods and interpret results with context.
  • Document activities in notebooks and systems; contribute to reports.
  • Calibrate equipment and ensure instrument integrity per procedures.
