Mission
The Media Officer ensures the operational rollout, optimization, and follow-up of all our media campaigns (online and offline).
He/She manages investments to maximize the visibility of our commercial highlights.
As a central hub, you work in full synergy with the Creative, Social Media & Influence departments, as well as strategic teams, to ensure 360 brand consistency.
You initiate projects to support the Marketing Communication department and handle the day-to-day coordination of the allocated media budget.
Responsibilities
- Develop and challenge the 360 media plan in collaboration with the media agency to maximize campaign performance and consistency across channels (TV, Radio, (D)OOH, Social Ads, Programmatic, SEA, etc.).
- Jointly determine specific budget allocations per channel and manage the operational rollout.
- Translate media plan formats into clear creative requirements for the Creative & Production team, and coordinate paid media investments in alignment with the Social Media & Influence department.
- Participate in alignment phases with Strategy teams and collaborate with internal stakeholders across Carrefour Belgium.
- Define performance KPIs, proactively monitor them via weekly status updates, and coordinate the delivery of Post-Mortem reports with actionable recommendations.
- Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for partners to test new formats, set up Test & Learn projects, and propose solutions to improve digital tools.
Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing/Communication, with at least 5 years of experience in campaign management (Online is required; knowledge of Offline is a plus), ideally gained at a media agency.
- In-depth knowledge of media ecosystems and a proven ability to direct, brief, and challenge a partner media agency on a daily basis.
- Strong data culture, solid knowledge of analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Data Studio), and familiarity with campaign management platforms (Facebook Ads: Meta Business Manager, Pinterest Ads, TikTok Ads, DV 360, etc.).
- Excellent collaborative skills, team spirit, and an "Explorer" mindset that closely follows market trends and innovations.
- Strong analytical skills, organizational acumen, and high precision in tracking budgets and projects.
- Bilingual (French and Dutch).
