Job summary

Movu Robotics is seeking a Mechatronics Test Engineer to drive end-to-end verification and validation of electromechanical systems. You will perform electrical, mechanical, and software tests, document results, and develop test procedures to ensure the system meets stakeholder requirements.

You hold a engineering degree in Mechatronics/Electronics/Automation or CS and have 5+ years in industrial settings. English required; travel to Lokeren HQ daily; no telework.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Automation, Computer Science or related fields.
• At least 5 years of engineering experience, preferably in manufacturing, automation, machine or aerospace industries.
• Comfortable in hands-on testing and reparation of hardware.
• Autonomous and a communicative team player.
• English is a must (C1 or higher).
• Eligible to work in Belgium.
• Mobile to Movu Robotics HQ in Lokeren daily (no telework).

Responsibilities

• Execute tests (electrical, mechanical, software) according to predefined test procedures.
• Define and develop Verification & Validation procedures, work instructions, test scripts, and other documentation to demonstrate that the system is fit for its purpose and satisfies the stakeholders’ requirements.
• Document verification & validation results.
• Recommend corrective actions and obtain stakeholder acceptance of validation results.
• Log defects and issues found during V&V activities and track to closure.
• Collaborate closely and stay aligned with other groups, both within and external to MOVU.
