Group-IPS invites applications for a Mechanical Package Owner in Belgium. The role focuses on technical coordination and delivery of mechanical packages from design to handover, acting as the main technical contact for assigned packages.

You will coordinate internal teams, review specs and docs, and ensure compliance with project standards and safety requirements. The position offers international project exposure and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in industrial/construction as mechanical engineer.
• Experience coordinating mechanical work with other disciplines, suppliers and contractors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Fluency in Dutch and English.
• Willingness to travel to project and client sites with a valid driving license.

Responsabilités

• Take full ownership of the assigned mechanical package from concept design through procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Prepare and review mechanical specifications, equipment datasheets, P&IDs, layouts, calculations and documentation.
• Perform sizing, pressure-drop calculations, material selection and technical evaluations.
• Prepare RFQ documentation and participate in supplier proposal evaluations.
• Review vendor drawings and follow up on comments and actions.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
