Mechanicaldesigndirectory is seeking a Product Design Engineer to contribute to the design and development of innovative 3D printing products. The role includes engineering parts for tight tolerance injection molding and creating prototypes, while collaborating with manufacturers and partners.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in moving mechanical component/system design analysis and is proficient in 3D CAD. This contract-to-hire position is located in Braine-L'Alleud, Belgium, offering a dynamic work environment in a growing company.

Qualifications

• Mechanical/Technological Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years experience in bringing products to market.
• Experience with aluminum structures and plastic component modeling.

Responsabilités

• Engineer parts for tight tolerance injection molding.
• Create development prototypes for testing and validation.
• Develop finite element models for analysis and optimization.

Connaissances

Mechanical/Technological Engineering or equivalent

5+ years experience in bringing products to market

Moving mechanical component/system design analysis

Experience with aluminum structures and plastic component modeling

Product development and manufacturing experience

Strong analytic problem solving skills

Strong communication, organization and documentation skills

Experience with 3D printing and CNC

Electrical and electronics experience

Highly proficient in 3D CAD
