Job summary

Hitachi Energy Belgium N.V. seeks a Process & Methods Engineer to drive operational excellence across our manufacturing operations in Charleroi.

You will optimize processes, improve equipment reliability, and lead maintenance and process improvement initiatives with production, quality, supply chain and engineering teams. You will develop preventive/predictive maintenance strategies, perform root cause analyses, and apply Lean/TPM/Kaizen/5S/SMED to boost efficiency, quality, and throughput while

Qualifications

Master's degree in mechanical/industrial/electrical/mechatronics or related field.
Minimum 3 years in manufacturing, production, or industrial environments.
Proven experience with Lean, TPM, CI, RCA, 5 Why, and PDCA methodologies.
Experience with CMMS and ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA) and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
Lead root cause analyses and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime.
Analyze manufacturing processes with cycle-time studies and bottleneck analysis.
Create and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation.
Drive continuous improvement using Lean, TPM, Kaizen, 5S, SMED and Value Stream Mapping.
