Job summary

Hitachi Energy Belgium N.V. is seeking a Process & Methods Engineer to drive operational excellence across manufacturing operations.

You will optimize preventive and predictive maintenance, lead root cause analyses, and collaborate with production, quality, supply chain, and maintenance teams to improve uptime and performance. The role emphasizes process optimization, data-driven decision making, and the implementation of Lean TPM and continuous improvement initiatives on high-voltage technology

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a technical discipline (mechanical/industrial/electrical/mechatronics).
• Minimum 3 years in manufacturing, production, or industrial environments with process improvement and maintenance/reliability responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance methodologies, manufacturing processes, and industrial production systems.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, continuous improvement, and RCA/5 Why/PDCA.
• Hands-on shop floor experience and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
• Lead root cause analyses and implement sustainable actions to reduce downtime.
• Analyze and improve manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and throughput.
• Create and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and process docs.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean TPM Kaizen 5S VSM and related methods.
• Identify and eliminate losses, waste, and cost drivers to boost productivity.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental and regulatory requirements.
