In Brussels, we have our Structural and Mechatronics Engineering offices, where all our new programs begin and our workshops are equipped with modern machines that produce complex metallic assemblies for aircraft and space launchers as well as advanced Thrust Vectoring Systems for space launchers.

Mission

Your main mission as Manufacturing Engineer is to ensure the industrialization of products and implement the corresponding processes.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in the development of new products and be responsible for industrial choices: optimize part design, define production means, select manufacturing processes.
  • Validate engineering plans for optimal industrialization.
  • Implement manufacturing processes (SAP routings, technical documentation, control sheets, define tooling requirements, etc.).
  • Study and improve workstations (ergonomics, layout, and safety conditions).
  • Optimize and validate production for series production.
  • Dimension production means and cycle times, validate operational times, and, if needed, manage transfers to subcontractors ensuring success.
  • Participate in the execution of PFMEA (Process Failure Modes & Effects Analysis).
  • Propose improvements for equipment testing and validation procedures.
  • Analyze changes in customer demands and their impact on manufacturing process definitions.
  • Analyze deviations and propose corrective actions while ensuring compliance with costs, quality, and deadlines within your scope of responsibility.
  • Proactively initiate activities to reduce costs and variation through statistical process control (SPC).
  • Participate in investment projects (technical innovations) to optimize manufacturing and testing processes.
  • Support the creation of strategic roadmaps by proposing and justifying capital investments (machines, tooling, calibration, factory).
  • Prepare quotations for new project tenders.
You are responsible for
  • Ensuring compliance with the EN9100 quality standard and the ISO 14001 environmental standard.
  • Performing rigorous self-checks to guarantee the quality and conformity of the work.
  • Transferring your skills and knowledge to new team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and mutual support.
Profile

Education: You hold a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.

Desired experience:

  • You have 3 to 5 years of experience as a manufacturing engineer, ideally in the aerospace sector.
  • You have experience with advanced manufacturing technologies (3D printing, additive manufacturing, composites).
  • You have experience in manufacturing project management, including planning, coordination, and follow-up.
