Job summary

Petersime nv is undergoing a transform to a single master data source in PLM, separating R&D BOM from manufacturing BOM for production. As BOM officer you will build the MBOM, ensure data quality, and coordinate ERP submissions with SAP Windchill expertise.

You will link R&D, production and other departments, drive process definitions, and own change control from discovery to release in a growing global incubator technology company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical subject (electromechanics, industrial sciences or equivalent).
• Experience with BOM management, PLM and/or ERP; knowledge of Windchill and SAP is a strong plus.
• You can read technical drawings and 3D CAD models fluently.
• Accurate and structured: you understand that data quality plays a crucial role.
• You dare to set priorities, approach people and follow up on files until they are completed.
• Strong at communication and connection with others.

Responsibilities

• You will translate the Engineering BOM from R&D into a manufacturable Manufacturing BOM: based on production sequence, create 2D production drawings and assembly instructions.
• You will add raw materials and production-related materials and create new raw material items.
• You will compile the sales BOM as a transformation from the MBOM, with the right shippable components and data requirements.
• You will carry out quality control and further enrichment on PLM master data and BOMs.
• You will supervise the correct submission to ERP and coordinate further enrichment in ERP and peripheral systems; guide key users from other departments.
• You will supervise product changes and act as a central link between the various departments.
• You will own the problem report list from production and delegate minor changes to the right department.
