Harding is seeking an experienced Mandarin-speaking Retail Manager to lead onboard cruise retail teams and drive sales performance. If you are outgoing, customer-focused, and passionate about delivering exceptional service, we would love to hear from you!

Contract role, working and living at sea for up to 6 months at a time, with 1-2 month breaks. Accommodation and meals on board, visas and seafaring documents provided, plus dedicated training and central office support.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Retail Manager or Assistant Manager (ideally with experience at sea).
• Fluent in Mandarin with confident guest and colleague communication.
• Motivated to lead a team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Excellent face-to-face customer service and sales ability.
• Proven ability in public speaking.
• Adaptable to change and able to work in a high-pressure environment.
• Strong leader and team player, commercially driven and goal oriented.
• Competent in store and HR processes including sales reports, loss prevention, audits, appraisals, disciplinaries etc.
• Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead a team to create an exceptional and memorable retail experience for guests on board.
• Inspire the team to deliver outstanding customer service while achieving sales and profit targets.
• Set an example as a role model for the team.
• Identify and deliver training requirements within the team.
• Own the client base including outreach for events such as private sales, in-store events and product knowledge.
• Maintain high standards both on the shop floor and in back-office operations.
