Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks an experienced technical leader to coach and grow a high-performing Solutions Architect team supporting Benelux Cross-Industry customers in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg.

You will guide teams in modern cloud architectures, data platforms, and AI, engaging with C-suite executives to align cloud solutions with transformation goals and drive strategic AWS adoption.

Qualifications

• Experience in cloud architecture and CXO-level engagement.
• Experience architecting/operating solutions on any cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc).
• Experience leading and growing teams of senior tech professionals in customer-facing roles.
• Professional fluency in Dutch and English (written and spoken).

Are you passionate about building and leading high-performing technical teams that help the Benelux's largest and most strategic organizations transform through cloud, data, and artificial intelligence? Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced technical leader to coach, grow, and partner with customer-facing Solutions Architects supporting Cross-Industry organizations across the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg.

In this role, you will lead and inspire a team of Solutions Architects who serve as trusted technical advisors to senior executives, helping them navigate complex business challenges through innovative cloud solutions. You will combine broad industry knowledge with deep technical credibility in modern cloud architecture, data platforms, and artificial intelligence to guide both your team and your customers through transformational technology decisions. Working in partnership with account management, you will shape and deliver on the strategy for AWS adoption across Benelux Cross-Industry customers, driving executive-level conversations that align cloud solutions with transformation goals.

Key job responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and grow a team of Solutions Architects by providing coaching on best practices, solution design, customer engagement strategies, and presentation skills to help them become trusted technical advisors to C-suite executives and senior stakeholders

• Build and execute a customer-focused strategy in partnership with account management teams to drive cloud adoption across Benelux Cross-Industry customers, establishing deep relationships with decision makers to enable them to champion cloud and artificial intelligence transformation

• Guide your team in designing and implementing modern cloud architectures with emphasis on data, analytics, and artificial intelligence capabilities, working backwards from customer needs to deliver scalable, secure solutions that address complex business challenges

• Act as a technical thought leader representing AWS in executive-level discussions, public speaking engagements, and written content such as whitepapers and reference architectures that showcase how AWS delivers value to customers

• Champion the adoption of emerging technologies within your customer base, identifying opportunities to integrate generative artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, and modern architecture patterns while serving as a liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and specialist organizations

Basic Qualifications

• Experience in cloud architecture and CXO level engagement

• Experience architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.

• Experience leading and growing teams of senior technology professionals, ideally in customer facing roles

• Professional fluency (written and spoken) in Dutch and English

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional fluency (written and spoken) in French

• Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud

• Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies

• AWS Professional level/ Cloud Certification

• Experience writing and publishing technical documents or equivalent

• Experience developing technology solutions and evangelising end-to-end technology roadmaps that guide IT transformations toward cloud computing
