KPMG Belgium is seeking a motivated (Senior) Manager for its Valuations team within Deals & Strategy to deliver valuation advice across industries, including business, share and intangible asset valuations for M&A, accounting, tax, reorganizations and disputes. You will also support Purchase Price Allocations (IFRS 3) and impairment tests under BE GAAP and IAS 36.

To further strengthen the Valuations team and support continued growth, the team is seeking a motivated and capable professional with a minimum of six years of relevant experience for a (Senior) Manager role.

What will the role involve?

As a (Senior) Manager within the Valuations team, the role operates within the Deals practice, with a strong focus on delivering valuation advice to clients across a broad range of industries. This includes the valuation of businesses, shares and intangible assets (such as brands and customer relationships) for various purposes, including M&A transactions, accounting, tax matters, internal reorganizations, and disputes. The role also supports clients with Purchase Price Allocations (IFRS 3) and impairment tests under BE GAAP and IAS 36.

Key responsibilities include:

• Taking responsibility for the day-to-day management of engagements and acting as the primary point of contact for clients;
• Managing workflows and coordinating the activities of team members, while collaborating closely with other KPMG teams such as Audit, Tax & Legal, and Risk;
• Coordinating team efforts related to market and financial research, financial statement analysis, pricing and valuation analysis, and the preparation of valuation reports;
• Building and expanding a professional network, and establishing long-term client relationships by acting as a trusted adviser, and leveraging expertise, skills, and experience to support clients' objectives.

Skills & Qualifications

The following qualifications, expertise, and skills support success in this role:

• A Master's degree, combined with a minimum of six years of relevant experience in areas such as M&A, financial modeling, and valuations;
• Strong knowledge of valuation techniques applicable to value companies, businesses, intangible assets, and financial instruments;
• Experience managing a team in a fast-moving environment with evolving client needs;
• Experience in one or more of the following sectors is considered an asset: Technology, Financial Services, Energy, and infrastructure;
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and develop well-reasoned solutions;
• Excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to perform consistently at a high level, including under time pressure and strict deadlines;
• Strong experience in, and motivation for, business development activities;
• Confidence in navigating AI-related topics, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to stakeholders, make ethically sound decisions, and adapt to evolving technologies;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch (essential) and English; knowledge of French is an asset.
