Job summary

Vivid Resourcing Ltd is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to support reliable operation of equipment and facilities in a busy technical environment. You will coordinate day-to-day maintenance activities and work closely with engineering and operations teams.

The role blends planning with hands-on troubleshooting and continuous improvement, including managing spare parts, coordinating external contractors, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Higher education in electromechanics or a related technical discipline.
• Several years of maintenance/engineering experience.
• Experience coordinating maintenance activities or supervising technical personnel.
• Strong working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience with fault finding and root-cause analysis.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance and continuous improvement.
• Experience in a structured technical/operational setting.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with ERP/maintenance management systems is an advantage.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day maintenance activities and ensure work is completed effectively.
• Plan and organise routine maintenance and repairs.
• Monitor equipment and facilities and identify potential technical issues.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems and coordinate solutions.
• Respond to breakdowns and urgent maintenance requirements.
• Keep maintenance records and ensure documentation is up to date.
• Manage availability of spare parts, tools and equipment.
• Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers when required.
• Provide guidance and support to maintenance personnel.
• Monitor maintenance performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Contribute to improvement projects and initiatives to reduce downtime and improve performance.
• Support implementation of relevant quality, safety and environmental procedures.

Your Profile

• Higher education qualification in Electromechanics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Several years of relevant experience in maintenance, engineering or a similar technical environment.
• Previous experience coordinating maintenance activities or supervising technical personnel.
• Strong practical understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience with equipment troubleshooting, fault finding and root-cause analysis.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance and continuous improvement principles.
• Experience working in a structured technical or operational environment.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with ERP or maintenance management systems is an advantage.
• Good organisational and planning skills.
• Fluent in Dutch and English. French is a plus.
