Accent Jobs for People NV is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support metal sector operations in Belgium. You will inspect electrical and mechanical systems, implement preventive maintenance plans, and assist automation projects.

Responsabilités

• Detect malfunctions in electrical and mechanical systems and implement solutions.
• Develop and perform preventive maintenance plans.
• Support automation projects.
• Start up maintenance software with Process Manager.
• Relocate machines and optimize processes.
• Schedule routine maintenance and coordinate external technicians.
• Set up safety measures for machines.
• Maintain buildings.

Responsibilities

• Detecting electrical and mechanical malfunctions in the machines, and proposing and implementing technical solutions
• Developing a preventive maintenance plan and performing preventive maintenance
• Supporting automation projects
• Starting up the maintenance software together with the Process Manager
• Relocating machines and thinking about processes
• Scheduling and performing routine or necessary maintenance during predetermined maintenance periods
• Scheduling external technicians if needed
• Setting up safety measures for machines
• Maintenance of buildings

Qualifications

• Electrical and mechanical knowledge/training
• 2 years of experience as a maintenance technician in the metal sector
• Problem solver, knows how to take initiative, flexible attitude
• Good command of Dutch & French
• Analyze maintenance data, develop maintenance procedures, provide technical support
• Critical thinking, being able to communicate, collaborate with colleagues, planning and organizing skills, working result‑oriented
