We are working with an established engineering and manufacturing employer in Antwerp who are looking for a permanent Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team. The role focuses on turbo machinery, 3D design optimisation and reverse engineering.

The position offers up to €7,000 per month, with extensive extra-legal benefits and opportunities for professional development. You will work within a dynamic engineering team on challenging turbo machinery projects.

Qualifications

• Turbo machinery experience essential.
• Strong experience with Ansys.
• Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong 3D CAD and modelling experience.
• Good communicator and team player within a wider engineering team.

Responsabilités

• Develop and optimise mechanical designs for turbo machinery applications.
• Reverse engineer existing turbo machinery and components.
• Analyse and improve existing designs to enhance performance, reliability and manufacturability.
• Work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure designs meet project requirements.
• Support the development and implementation of design solutions from concept through to completion.

• Carry out reverse engineering of existing turbo machinery and components.
• Analyse and improve existing designs to enhance performance, reliability and manufacturability.
• Work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure designs meet project requirements.
• Support the development and implementation of design solutions from concept through to completion.

About you

• Previous experience working with turbo machinery is essential.
• Strong experience with Ansys.
• A Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Strong 3D CAD and modelling experience.
• A good communicator and team player with the ability to work effectively within a wider engineering team.
