Vivid Resourcing is recruiting for a permanent Mechanical Engineer to join a medium-sized manufacturing employer in the Antwerp area. The role requires a proven track record and ambitions in project management to lead process improvements and support new product introduction into production.

The successful candidate will analyse production processes, drive OEE improvements, design tooling and work instructions, and collaborate with R&D to translate designs into manufacturable processes.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in mechanical engineering/automation.
• Experience or ambition in project management and stakeholder relationships.
• SolidWorks experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Analyse existing production processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, stability and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
• Lead and deliver process improvement projects focused on increasing productivity and reducing waste.
• Support the introduction of new products into production, translating R&D designs into practical, manufacturable processes and work instructions.
• Design and develop production tooling, equipment, test setups and other manufacturing resources.
• Analyse production machinery and implement improvements to increase reliability, stability and performance.

We are working with a client who are looking for a permanent mechanical engineer with a proven track record and project management experience/ambitions, to work within a medium sized manufacturing employer in the Antwerp area.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse existing production processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, stability and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
• Lead and deliver process improvement projects focused on increasing productivity and reducing waste.
• Support the introduction of new products into production, translating R&D designs into practical, manufacturable processes and work instructions.
• Design and develop production tooling, equipment, test setups and other manufacturing resources.
• Analyse production machinery and implement improvements to increase reliability, stability and performance.

About you

• Proven track record in mechanical engineering/automation
• experience in/ambition to take on project management responsibilities and stakeholder relationships
• experience with solidworks is preferable
