Vivid Resourcing is seeking a Design Engineer with a strong mechanical engineering background to lead design and development of machines, assemblies and components. You will drive concepts through detailed engineering and production, creating 3D models and drawings, selecting materials, and ensuring designs meet manufacturing and quality needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong experience with 3D CAD and technical drawing.
• Good understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials and manufacturing processes.
• Experience designing mechanical components and assemblies.
• Practical, hands-on approach to engineering and problem solving.
• Able to work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Good communication skills in English.

Responsabilités

We're currently recruiting for a Design Engineer with a strong mechanical engineering background to join a team responsible for the design and development of machines, mechanical assemblies and individual components.

In this role, you will take mechanical designs from initial concept through to detailed engineering and production, working on both new developments and improvements to existing products. You will be involved in creating and modifying 3D models and technical drawings, selecting appropriate materials and components, and ensuring designs meet functional, manufacturing and quality requirements.

The position would suit a mechanically minded engineer who enjoys hands‑on design work and wants to be involved in the full development process. You will work closely with other engineering disciplines, production and suppliers to ensure that designs can be manufactured, assembled and ultimately perform as intended.
