Duely BV in Ghent is seeking a dedicated M&A lawyer to join as the legal counterpart to our AI-driven due diligence engine. You will shape data room reviews, due diligence reports, and gap analyses with a strong emphasis on material findings and sound judgement.

As part of the on-site team, you will define standards for findings, defend conclusions with clients, and help scale M&A work through repeatable processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in transactional or corporate law: due diligence, data rooms, deal pressure.
• You can call what is material and what is noise, and stand behind that call.
• You want leverage, not hours.
• You are curious about how AI produces legal work.
• You want to be in the room for deals, on-site in Ghent.
• Bonus: experience at a strong M&A or corporate practice and exposure to legal tech.

Responsabilités

• Own the legal output: review and shape data room reviews, gap analyses and due diligence reports.
• Set the standard: define what a good finding and solid report look like and make it reproducible.
• Work in tandem: combine judgement with scale from the engineer for better deal execution.
• Sit across from the client: scope work with PE funds and corporate M&A teams and defend findings.
• Build the playbooks: turn practice into repeatable processes.
