Kuredhivaru Resort and Spa in the Noonu atoll seeks a Landscaping Manager to lead all landscaping and horticultural operations across the resort, ensuring gardens, beaches, villas and public areas meet the highest luxury standards.

You will develop maintenance programs, supervise a diverse team, manage budgets and procurement, and collaborate with Engineering, Housekeeping and Sustainability to deliver outstanding outdoor environments for guests.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Landscaping, Horticulture, Agriculture, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Landscaping Manager or similar role.
• Hospitality or luxury resort experience preferred.
• Knowledge of tropical plants, irrigation systems, turf management, and pest control.
• Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication and ability to lead a multicultural team.
• Experience in tropical island or luxury resort environment is an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage landscaping operations across the resort to luxury standards.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve landscape maintenance programs, seasonal planting schedules, and beautification projects.
• Supervise, train, and motivate the landscaping team, fostering a culture of excellence, safety, sustainability, and development.
• Monitor and maintain plant health, irrigation, fertilization, pruning, pest control, and disease management.
• Manage all irrigation systems to ensure efficient water usage and sustainable landscaping.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee landscaping enhancement projects within budget and quality standards.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets, control operating expenses, and oversee procurement of materials.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Housekeeping, Sustainability, and Guest Experience teams to maintain outdoor environments.
• Preserve biodiversity and promote environmentally responsible landscaping practices.
• Monitor contractor/vendor performance and ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Conduct inspections and implement corrective actions to maintain presentation and operational excellence.
• Ensure health, safety, environmental, and sustainability policy compliance.
• Support sustainability goals through water conservation, waste reduction, and pest management.
• Prepare reports, schedules, and updates with accurate records of activities and costs.
• Continuously seek innovative landscaping solutions to enhance guest experience and resort image.
