Kuredhivaru Resort and Spa is seeking a seasoned pastry lead to maintain luxury dessert concepts and high standards across an international resort. You will manage a pastry team, design seasonal menus, and drive quality, cost control, and guest satisfaction.

Requirements include a Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts, 8+ years in an international class resort, and proven leadership. The role emphasizes budgeting, HACCP compliance, and continuous improvement in a luxury setting.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience in an International Class resort, at least 2 years in pastry leadership.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, train, and develop a pastry team.
• Budgeting, food cost management, inventory control, purchasing, and waste reduction expertise.

Responsabilités

• Maintain concepts and standards for food preparation and presentation.
• Enforce operational standards and continuously improve them.
• Ensure consistent, high quality in taste, presentation, and proper food temperatures.
• Maintain food cost through proper prep, inventory, requisition, pars and controls.
• Lead kitchen service and product operations to maximize profit while keeping guest satisfaction high.
• Demonstrate good kitchen practices by example and instruction.
• Plan, allocate and evaluate work for teams and individuals.
• Develop extensive knowledge of resort facilities and services.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and ensure compliance.
