Job summary

Yusen Logistics is seeking a Site Controller to support our Cluster North operations from Beveren-Kruibeke-Zwijndrecht. You will partner with Operations and Management to drive profitability, transparency and continuous improvement through financial reporting, budgeting and business partnering.

This role involves monthly closings, profitability analysis, budget preparation, KPI monitoring, and audits, with a hands-on, data-driven approach and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Approximately 2 to 5 years of experience in Controlling or financial analysis.
• Experience within logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding is a strong advantage.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with reporting tools.
• Knowledge of ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics is preferred.
• Solid understanding of P&L management, costing structures, financial analysis, and operational KPIs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to explain financial topics to non-financial stakeholders.
• A proactive, independent, and detail-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Managing and supporting the monthly closing process for your assigned sites.
• Analyzing customer and job profitability and identifying irregularities or opportunities for improvement.
• Validating financial data, including gross profit, operational results, and KPI performance.
• Performing variance analyses against budget, forecast, and previous periods.
• Supporting the preparation of management reports and performance reviews.
• Developing accurate budgets and forecasts together with operational management.
• Monitoring operational KPIs and translating data into actionable business insights.
• Partnering with Site Managers and Operations to improve financial performance.
• Supporting internal and external audits and ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Contributing to process improvements and standardization initiatives within Planning & Control.
