Safran Aircraft Engine Services Brussels, based at Brussels Airport, is a production-focused unit specialised in MRO for LEAP engines. The Logistics Warehouse Officer ensures smooth physical and IT flow, traceability of parts, and adherence to quality and safety rules within a two-shift environment.

The role requires a technical education related to logistics, proficiency in Word/Excel/ERP, and fluency in one of the national languages with English.

Qualifications

• Higher secondary or technical education with logistics basics.
• Proficient in IT tools (Word, Excel, ERP) and hold a valid lifting equipment license.
• Aim to be autonomous within six months after training.
• Strong communication, practical thinking and initiative; contribute to continuous improvement.
• Team player with an open and adaptable mindset.
• Work in a two-shift system: 6 a.m.–2 p.m. and 2 p.m.–10 p.m.

The Logistic Warehouse Officer is responsible for the physical flow, the IT flow and the traceability of parts and modules in the preparation area before assembly and in the warehouse. He works in a production environment and reports to the Completion Manager, who in turn reports to the Supply Chain Director.

Your role:

• You provide logistical support for production, where needed, and anticipate the needs for the realization of the 'Shop Visit' of modules and engines.
• You manage the incoming flow of engine parts in production by ensuring their traceability.
• You ensure the management of priorities vis-à-vis the modules to be prepared and released.
• You guarantee the cleanliness and correct packaging of the parts in the store.
• You follow the work and safety instructions specific to the workstation and the company.
• You respect the internal quality regulations and the rules of logistics and administrative management of the company.
• You stimulate the sharing of knowledge in the group.
• You take initiatives and make proposals in the context of continuous improvement, pro-actively evaluate, coordinate the improvement of current work methods and new technologies as they arise.You maintain constructive and effective relations with production, configurators and other colleagues.

Candidate skills & requirements

Your profile:

• You hold a higher secondary or technical education degree or have equivalent experience, with a basic understanding of logistics. A degree in logistics or a related field is a strong advantage.
• You are proficient in IT tools (Word, Excel, ERP) and hold a valid license for lifting equipment.
• You strive to become fully operational and autonomous within six months, following a period of training and learning.
• You possess strong communication skills, practical thinking, and initiative, while actively contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
• You are a team player with an open and adaptable mindset.
• You work in a two-shift system: one week from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., followed by a week from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.
• You are fluent in either French or Dutch, have at least a basic understanding of the second national language, and with a good level of English.
