Job summary

Capgemini Engineering Belgium is seeking a logistics professional to manage and optimize international shipping procedures for direct distribution, affiliates, and exports. You will oversee daily logistics activities from scheduling to delivery and collaborate with IT, QA, and operations to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Fluency in English and French, with 1–2 years in logistics or related field, and experience with ERP systems are required to monitor KPIs and support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or customer service.
• Fluent in English and French; strong communication skills.
• Proficiency with ERP and logistics management systems; data analysis skills.
• Understanding of international trade regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Managing and continually improving international shipping procedures for direct distribution, affiliate, and export operations.
• Overseeing daily logistics activities end-to-end from pick slip creation to shipment scheduling.
• Building and maintaining relationships with customer service teams, 3PLs, IT, QA, and operations.
• Monitoring KPIs such as shipment accuracy, on-time delivery, and invoicing; providing data-driven insights.
• Leading compliance with international trade regulations, customs, and internal frameworks; delivering training.
• Overseeing pre-shipment inspections and franchise transfer activities.
• Driving financial reconciliation of freight costs and monthly reporting.
• Participating in logistics improvement projects and proposing innovative ideas.

YOUR ROLE

• Managing and continuously improving international shipping procedures for direct distribution, affiliate, and export operations, ensuring alignment with evolving customer requirements and industry best practices
• Overseeing daily logistics activities end-to-end, from pick slip creation and shipping schedule management to coordinating with freight forwarders and transportation teams to ensure on-time, accurate delivery
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with customer service teams, third-party logistics providers, and internal stakeholders including IT, quality assurance, and operations, fostering clear communication and shared accountability
• Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators such as shipment accuracy, on-time delivery, and invoicing, providing strategic insights and data-driven recommendations to drive continuous improvement
• Leading compliance efforts by ensuring adherence to international trade regulations, customs requirements, and internal compliance frameworks, including delivering training to both internal teams and third-party logistics personnel
• Overseeing pre-shipment inspections and franchise transfer activities, ensuring thorough follow-up and seamless execution across all relevant teams and organisations
• Driving financial reconciliation of freight costs, maintaining accurate documentation for audit and legal compliance, and conducting monthly financial reporting to track departmental performance against targets
• Actively participating in logistics improvement projects, contributing innovative ideas and operational expertise to enhance processes and service delivery

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., APICS, CLTD, CPSM) is a plus
• Fluent in English and French
• Good mobility to Courcelles three times a week
• 1-2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or customer service, ideally with exposure to regulated industries such as pharmaceutical or healthcare
• Proficiency in ERP and logistics management systems, with strong analytical skills and experience working with data analysis tools to monitor performance and support decision-making
• Solid understanding of international trade regulations, customs compliance, and logistics best practices, combined with a proven ability to manage cross-functional relationships and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, a proactive problem-solving mindset, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining a customer-centric approach
