Oleon, a business unit of Avril, is seeking a Local Finance Expert in Ertvelde to ensure reliable and timely financial reporting for the Belgian and German entities, and to support the Italian branch. You will lead monthly and year-end closing, prepare balance sheet reviews, and coordinate local statutory accounts while working with auditors, tax, HR and other stakeholders.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in accounting or finance, at least five years’ international experience, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• At least five years of relevant experience in a complex, international environment.
• Familiar with statutory reporting, audits and different accounting frameworks (IFRS/local GAAP).
• Knowledge of German GAAP is an asset; willingness to learn.

Responsabilités

• Lead monthly and year-end closing processes.
• Coordinate preparation of local statutory accounts and support external audits and tax reporting.
• Ensure intercompany flows and group reporting are aligned.
• Investigate accounting topics and coordinate solutions with cross-functional teams.
