Fluxys is seeking a Plant Operations Officer for the Zeebrugge LNG terminal. You will share responsibility for smooth operations, safety, and regulatory compliance, leading a 36‑strong team on 24/7 shifts and coordinating loading/unloading cycles for ships and trucks.

You will train staff, develop deployment plans, and collaborate with commercial, dispatching and ICT teams. Dutch, English and French language proficiency is essential, with onsite, demanding environments and on-call opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Industrial Sciences or Engineering Sciences.
• At least 3 years’ relevant work experience in a process, energy or industrial environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to lead and motivate others and provide constructive feedback.
• Strong analytical skills and a critical mindset for managing projects and analyses.

Responsabilités

• Co-manage and coach a team of around 36 people in 24/7 LNG terminal operations.
• Develop and roll out staff training programs with the Support Operations department.
• Coordinate staff deployment and operational planning to ensure continuous operations.
• Draft and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, safeguards and instructions for the Operations department.
• Maintain close contact with Commercial, Dispatching and ICT and external stakeholders to monitor LNG operations.
• Analyze production processes and propose improvements in safety, quality, environmental and legal aspects.
