Job summary

ING Belgium's Corporate Transaction Management team offers an internship opportunity for students in econometrics, financial engineering, or related fields. You will support credit-related tasks, help prepare credit packages, and learn about ING's corporate lending products and policies.

This 4–6 month program emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, with English fluency required and Dutch or French as a plus. You’ll gain practical Wholesale Banking exposure.

Qualifications

• Finishing studies in econometrics, business economics, financial engineering, and/or CFA or equivalent academics.
• Strong with Excel and PowerPoint presentations.
• Commercial drive, proactive mindset and analytical skills.
• Team spirit with collaborative attitude.
• Fluency in written and spoken English; Dutch and/or French a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support colleagues in credit-related matters, including life management (annual reviews, waivers) and new requests.
• Assist in preparing credit packages according to ING policy.
• Acquire knowledge on corporate lending products, ING policies and the general economic environment.
• Build out a network with Wholesale Banking.
• Provide support to the Corporate Transaction Management team and assist the Management Team on strategic projects.
