UCLouvain invites applications for an academic in Sign Language (LSFB) Translation and Interpreting at a 50% FTE appointment. The successful candidate will teach LSFB translation and interpreting in the Bachelor program and contribute to research through the IRIS-L Institute and TranSphères center.

Qualifications

• PhD in Languages, Literature, or Translation Studies with LSFB specialization.
• Strong command of French; high level English; pedagogical experience.
• Proven university teaching and research track record.
• Experience with LSFB interpreting is a major asset.

Responsabilités

• Teach in the LSFB Translation and Interpreting program at Bachelor level.
• Develop research activities within IRIS-L and TranSphères; lead programs.
• Supervise doctoral theses; participate in committees and governance.
