Sofico is seeking a Lead Test Automation Engineer to define, implement, and continuously improve our test automation strategy. You will design, build, and maintain a scalable framework, coach automation engineers, and collaborate with developers, analysts, and product teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

You will act as a technical leader within Quality Engineering, driving innovation, standardization, and continuous improvement in automated testing across the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in a senior test automation role.
• Ability to set up and architect test automation frameworks from scratch.
• Hands-on experience in automated testing (UI, API, integration, performance).
• Proficiency with Playwright, Cypress, Java, Python, and CI/CD tools.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, and maintain a scalable test automation framework (UI, API, integration, unit, performance).
• Define and promote test automation standards and best practices across teams.
• Drive test automation strategy and architecture aligned with product objectives.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and QA teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Embed testing early in the development lifecycle (shift-left).
• Review automated test scripts, results, and coverage to ensure quality deliverables.
• Coach and mentor junior and mid-level automated test engineers.
